Onshore Fields Solutions
Introduction
RPS Energy provides advanced engineering solutions for onshore oil field operations, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and energy optimization.
Our proprietary Renewable DCPU (Dynamic Counterweight Pumping Unit) introduces a new generation of pumpjack systems designed to improve performance while reducing operational and maintenance costs.
Technology Overview
Dynamic Counterweight Pumping Unit (DCPU)
RPS’s DCPU utilizes a pendulum-based mechanism combined with a hydraulic system to enhance energy efficiency and operational stability.
A hydraulic cylinder supports the pendulum, which acts as a counterweight. This system moves in synchrony with the pumpjack head, assisted by gravity and a rotating hydraulic pump.
This innovative configuration and technology reduces energy losses and simplifies the mechanical structure of the unit, converting the traditional pumpjack removing all the components that requires external energy, to a renewable, zero-carbon emissions unit.
Key Advantages
- No reduction gearbox required
- Lower CAPEX due to simplified design
- Reduced maintenance costs and complexity
